Insuremyrentalcar.com is a ground-breaking service brought to you by leading experts in the worldwide auto-rental insurance market.
The car rental insurance policies offered by Insuremyrentalcar.com are up to 70%* less than the rental desks. Collision/ Loss Damage insurance protection in the US can start at $25.99 per day* from a rental agency, however coverage including ZERO deductible from Insuremyrentalcar.com costs $7.50 per day! What’s more, the rental company policies may only provide protection for damage, and also may frequently exclude protection for some of the most vulnerable parts of the vehicle such as roof, undercarriage and wind shield – all of which are covered by your Insuremyrentalcar.com policy. For longer frequent rental car users, we also provide annual policies that offer great value, starting at $93.99.
The site is a collaboration between Halo Insurance Services and a U.S. licensed agent, The Direct Marketing Group (known as DMG Insurance Agency in California), and is designed to give a range of money-saving alternatives to the CDW/LDW insurance offered at the car rental agencies.
Rental vehicle insurance policies purchased through the site are underwritten by Federal Insurance Company, a member insurer of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies.

I have a reservation to rent a car today, but have not signed a rental agreement or picked up the rental vehicle. Am I able to purchase a policy?
Yes, however policies must be purchased at least one calendar day in advance of the policy effective date. If you are scheduled to pick up a rental vehicle today, the earliest coverage would begin is tomorrow.
COVERAGE WOULD NOT APPLY TO THE PURCHASE DATE OF THE POLICY, so please keep this in mind when considering coverage options.
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to provide a policy that would commence on the date the policy was purchased.
-

I want to add my Spouse or another additional driver. How do I do that?
Good news! Policies purchased from Insuremyrentalcar.com automatically cover the Policyholder and all authorized drivers (as noted on the rental agreement and approved by the rental agency) of the vehicle rented to the Policyholder.
This is the case whether the authorized driver is a Spouse or anyone else, including a Dependent Child. If you are purchasing an annual policy, you may add coverage for your Spouse so that they are able rent independently of the primary Policyholder. This means that they would be able to rent a vehicle under a rental contract that is in their name without you being present. Please keep in mind that this is only the case in the event that an annual policy has been purchased and the Family coverage option has been elected.
The Family coverage option also includes coverage for Dependent Children, however such coverage for Dependent Children only applies to the secondary benefits (if elected).
Secondary benefits include Personal Property in a Rented Vehicle, Hotel / Motel Burglary, Accidental Death and Dismemberment while in a Private Passenger Automobile, and Excess Accident Medical Expense while in a rented automobile.
The only circumstanced under which a Dependent Child would be covered for Loss Damage Waiver is if they are listed as an authorized driver on a rental contract that is in the name of the Policyholder, or a rental contract that is in the name of the Policyholder’s Spouse if an annual policy has been purchased and Family coverage has been elected.
